JEE Main 2026 Result Out: Arnav Gautam from Rajasthan tops JEE Main 2026 Session 1 with 100 percentile. 12 perfect scorers emerge from 13L+ candidates. Rajasthan leads with 3 toppers.

JEE Main 2026 Result Out: Rajasthan's Arnav Gautam has written a magnificent achievement by securing a perfect score of 100 percentile in JEE Main 2026 Session 1, announced by NTA on February 16. Among the top 12 out of 13 lakh applicants appearing, a 96.26% attendance, his first-timer achievement is a ray of hope for IIT stardom amidst stiff competition.
Coming from Rajasthan, 18 year old Arnav had managed to balance coaching with self-study, targeting Computer Science at IIT Bombay. Though his parents were from a humanities background, Arnav had decided on engineering from the start, thanks to coaching that helped clear his doubts and discipline that helped give him a competitive edge. Now, post-exam, he is focused on acing the JEE Advanced.
NTA declared that 12 students achieved 100 percentile in Paper 1 of the B.E./B.Tech exam, conducted between January 21-29 in shifts. Rajasthan tops the table with three students, reinforcing the importance of coaching centers and the 12 are now gearing up to face Advanced, where only the top 2.5 lakh proceed.

Out of the registered participants, who were 1,355,293 in number, 96.26% attended Session 1, Paper 1, which is equal to 1,304,653 participants. This huge number of participants was recorded online across 13 languages with engineering courses being popular, as seen from the fact that the top scorers come from a wide range of states and they are now aiming for NITs and IITs with the help of JoSAA.
