The 39th installment is due this month; however, the Government of Madhya Pradesh has not yet released any official statement regarding the exact date when the ₹1,500 will be paid out. The last, or 38th, installment had been released in July, and the beneficiaries are waiting for the next monthly installment. It has recently been reported that the payment will be released before Raksha Bandhan.

Ladli Behna 39th Installment: When Will ₹1,500 Be Credited?

The 39th installment is scheduled for August 2026, with eligible women set to receive ₹1,500 through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). The previous installment was reportedly transferred on July 12. There has been speculation about specific dates, including August 12, based on the timing of the previous installment. However, beneficiaries should not consider such dates official unless they are confirmed by the Madhya Pradesh government. The latest available reports say the August installment remains pending and that the government has not announced a final payment date as of August 17. Some reports have suggested that the payment could arrive before Raksha Bandhan on August 28, but this has not been officially confirmed.

Who Is Eligible for the Ladli Behna ₹1,500 Payment?

The Ladli Behna Yojana is a Madhya Pradesh government scheme providing monthly financial assistance to eligible women. The current monthly benefit is ₹1,500. As per the eligibility details reported for the scheme, beneficiaries must meet prescribed conditions relating to residence, age, family income and other factors. Women generally need to be residents of Madhya Pradesh and fall within the applicable age bracket. The scheme covers eligible married women and certain other categories, including widowed and divorced women.

Other important requirements include:

  • The beneficiary must satisfy the scheme’s prescribed age criteria.
  • The applicant must be a resident of Madhya Pradesh.
  • The family must meet the applicable income and other eligibility conditions.
  • Required KYC/verification should be completed.
  • The registered bank account should be in the beneficiary’s name.
  • The account should be properly enabled for DBT.

Meeting the requirements for an earlier installment does not necessarily guarantee future payments if a beneficiary’s circumstances or verification status changes.

Why Can the 39th Installment Get Delayed?

Beneficiaries who do not receive the August payment should first check their individual payment and beneficiary status rather than assuming that the installment has been cancelled. Since the scheme uses DBT, problems with the registered bank account or beneficiary details can affect the transfer. Beneficiaries should make sure their account is active, properly linked for DBT and that the information recorded under the scheme is accurate. Incomplete KYC or other verification issues can also create problems. Beneficiaries should therefore check their status on the official scheme portal and resolve any discrepancies through the appropriate government channel. Importantly, beneficiaries should not share OTPs, PINs, passwords or banking information with anyone claiming that they can release the installment.

Ladli Behna 39th Installment Status: How to Check Payment

Once the government initiates the August transfer, beneficiaries can check their payment details through the official Ladli Behna portal.

Generally, the process involves:

  • Visit the official Ladli Behna Yojana website.
  • Select the Application and Payment Status option.
  • Enter the required application or beneficiary details.
  • Complete the OTP/captcha verification, where required.
  • View the latest application and payment information.

If the portal shows that the payment has been processed but the money is not visible in the bank account, beneficiaries should check their bank statement and DBT status.

Ladli Behna 39th Installment Status: What Now?

According to reports, as of now, the August installment of ₹1,500 has not yet been assigned an official release date. As per information, the payment could be released by the government of Madhya Pradesh prior to Raksha Bandhan; however, it is advised that any beneficiary wait for an official declaration regarding the same.
