Mumbai Weather Today (July 14): Will It Rain In The City, Thane And Palghar? Check IMD’s Latest Forecast, Minimum, Maximum Temperature And More

Mumbai is expected to witness light rain and cloudy skies on Monday, with the IMD issuing a Green Alert for the city. No heavy rainfall warning has been issued, and weather-related disruptions are unlikely.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has placed Mumbai under a Green Alert for Monday, indicating that there is no severe weather threat for the city. Light rainfall is expected in parts of Mumbai and nearby districts, while no major disruptions due to weather are likely.

What Is Mumbai’s Weather Forecast For Today?

According to private weather agency AccuWeather, Mumbai is expected to have a cloudy, breezy and hot day. The forecast includes a few morning showers followed by light rainfall later in the day. The maximum temperature is expected to reach around 34 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature may settle near 27 degrees Celsius at night. AccuWeather has also warned that the hot and humid conditions may increase the risk of dehydration and heatstroke during prolonged outdoor activities.

With only light rainfall expected and no weather warnings in place, major disruptions due to rain are unlikely across Mumbai and neighbouring districts.

Which Parts Of Maharashtra Will Receive Rain?

According to the IMD, light rainfall is expected in Mumbai, Thane, Sindhudurg, Nashik, Ahilyanagar, Hingoli and Nanded. Meanwhile, Palghar, Raigad, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Jalgaon, Dhule, Jalna and Sangli may receive light rain accompanied by thunderstorms. The weather department has also predicted light to moderate rainfall in Ratnagiri. Several districts, including Pune, Latur, Dharashiv, Parbhani, Beed and Solapur, are likely to remain mostly dry.

What Is The IMD Forecast For The Coming Days?

The IMD has forecast isolated to scattered rainfall over Konkan and Goa between July 14 and July 16. Parts of Madhya Maharashtra are expected to receive scattered showers between July 14 and July 19, while rainfall activity in Marathwada is likely to increase from July 15 to July 19.
