Mumbai woke up to cloudy skies on Thursday, with light rain reported from a few parts of the city. A large tree also collapsed in Nehru Nagar, Kurla East, although no injuries or casualties were reported. Private weather forecaster Rushikesh Agre said Mumbai is likely to receive passing showers over the next 48 hours, while rainfall activity is expected to increase after the weekend.
What Are The Temperature And Humidity Levels?
The IMD expects:

•   Minimum temperature: 25°C-27°C
According to AccuWeather, temperatures may touch 32°C, while humidity is expected to remain high, making conditions feel warm and muggy despite the rainfall. Skymet has also predicted cloudy weather with light evening showers and wind speeds of up to 22.8 kmph.
Has BMC Issued Any High Tide Warning?
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has warned that high tides above 4.5 metres are expected between July 14 and July 18. For July 16, a high tide of around 4.10 metres is expected at 4:19 PM. The civic body has advised people to avoid visiting beaches and the seashore during high tide.
Weather experts believe the current spell of light rainfall is temporary. According to private forecasters, monsoon activity is likely to strengthen again after the weekend, bringing moderate to heavy rainfall across Mumbai and nearby regions next week.
