Now, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has stated that stormy weather will prevail in the financial capital again.

According to the latest forecast by the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Mumbai will experience moderate to heavy rain today after a monsoon spell brought a refreshing respite from the intense heatwave. The conditions will be similar to what Mumbaikars experienced recently. Humidity will remain high, due to which it will feel warmer.
Mumbai Weather Update: Will Rain Continue?
Many Mumbaikars are wondering whether the current conditions could mark the return of the monsoon. The IMD agrees, with the city’s Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) issuing a weather advisory.
“Residents are strongly advised to take necessary precautions, avoid staying near weak structures, and steer clear of waterlogging-prone low-lying areas during heavy spells”, the advisory stated. Owing to the current weather conditions as well as high tides, there is a high risk of waterlogging in the city.
