PM Kisan 22nd Installment 2026 Released: The 22nd installment of the PM-KISAN scheme has been officially released today, March 13, 2026, offering financial relief to millions of farmers across India.

BJP leader Jaypal Singh Chawda praised the Modi government’s dedication to farmers, stating, “A government committed to the welfare of farmers.”  He noted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has transferred over ₹18,640 crore to the bank accounts of more than 9.32 crore farmers across India today as part of the 22nd installment of the PM-KISAN scheme.

Prime Minister Modi Launches 22nd Tranche in Guwahati

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 22nd installment during an event in Guwahati, Assam. Under this installment, Rs 2,000 will be directly credited to registered farmers’ bank accounts through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system.

How the PM-KISAN Scheme Supports Farmers

The PM-KISAN scheme provides a total of Rs 6,000 annually to every eligible farmer, split into three installments of Rs 2,000 each. With 21 installments already disbursed, farmers were eagerly awaiting this latest payment.

Total Disbursement and Beneficiaries

At the event, Prime Minister Modi shared that the 22nd installment totals Rs 18,640 crore, benefiting 9.32 crore farmers across the country. “Eligible farmers receive Rs 2,000 every four months, totaling Rs 6,000 annually, directly into their bank accounts via DBT,” he said, emphasizing the government’s commitment to supporting farmers.
