PM-KISAN Scheme 22nd Installment: The farmers who have been the beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme are awaiting the release of the 22nd installment of Rs 2,000. Many farmers have been awaiting the release of the installment for the past few weeks.
Earlier, it had been reported that the installment would be released by the end of February. Then, it had been reported that the installment would be released to the bank accounts of the farmers before the festival of Holi. What Is the PM-KISAN Scheme?
Under the PM-KISAN scheme, small and marginal farmers who have enrolled in this scheme receive an amount of Rs 6,000 annually from the government.
This amount is released in three equal installments of Rs 2,000 each. This amount is directly credited to the bank accounts of farmers through the Direct Benefits Transfer method, which does not involve any intermediary for the transfer of funds.
PM Kisan 22nd Installment Date: When Will Farmers Receive Rs 2,000?
According to reports emerging in the media, it is possible that the announcement regarding the 22nd installment will be made on March 13. On that day, the Prime Minister of the country, Narendra Modi, is scheduled to visit Assam. It is also possible that the installment for the farmers will be announced on that occasion.
There is no official announcement regarding the date of the release of the installment.
Who May Not Receive the 22nd Installment?
This farmer may not receive the upcoming installment if he/she fails to meet the requirements set under the scheme.
Farmers who have not yet completed the e-KYC process or have not yet linked their Farmer ID on the official portal will not receive the upcoming installment.
This benefit will not be given in the following situations:
- If the farmer or any of his/her family members (husband, wife, or children) receive the benefits of the scheme.
- If the farmer or any of his/her family members work in a government job.
- If the farmer or any of his/her family members pay income tax.
- If the farmer receives a monthly pension of 10,000 rupees or more from the government.

In order to ensure that the future payments are released without any problems, there are a few important things that need to be done by the farmers. These include completing their e-KYC verification process, if it is still pending, as well as verifying their land records and checking their eligibility status on the official website of PM-KISAN.

Farmers who want to confirm whether their name appears in the list of beneficiaries can follow these steps:
- Visit the official PM-KISAN website
- Select your state, district, sub-district, block, and village
- Click on 'Submit'
- On clicking 'Submit,' the list of beneficiaries appears on the screen.
