Tamil Nadu’s Directorate for Medical Education has published the provisional rank list for MBBS and BDS admissions this year. Registration for the counselling process started in late June. The shortlist has been released quota wise.
TN NEET UG 2026 Rank List Released
Candidates can now access the official rank list for the MBBS and BDS admissions under Tamil Nadu’s UG NEET 2026. The list was shared by the state’s DME on the official portal. To check whether they have been shortlisted, candidates should head to tnmedicalslection.net, log in with their candidates and then go through the rank list. Remember that the specific state merit rank, is separate from the All India Rank (AIR).

To download the official rank list for Tamil Nadu’s NEET UG 2026, candidates should:

Visit the official portal of Tamil Nadu’s Directorate for Medical Education (DME) at tnmedicalselection.net.

Navigate to the “UG Courses” tab on the homepage and then click on the “MBBS/BDS” option

On the homepage, click on the respective quota-wise rank list for government, management and 7.5 per cent government school quota, under the “Notification” section. Then, You will see separate links depending on your registration category (govermnet quota/management quota/7.5% Special Reservation for Government School Candidates)

Click on the specific link relevant to your application The rank list will be displayed on the screen.

Download and save the rank list for future reference during counselling rounds.
