The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has announced the UPPSC APS recruitment result 2026. According to the results, not a single student has qualified for the second stage of the Additional Private Secretary (APS) Examination 2023 out of 4,240 candidates. The commission conducted the second stage exam between June 28 and July 18, 2024, in two shifts. However, candidates who appeared for the test were declared failed.Â
What Happened to UPPSC APS Exam Result?
The UPPSC announced the APS recruitment result 2023 at its official website, uppsc.up.nic.in. Candidates who appeared in the examination for 331 vacancies can check their APS results online. However, the result came as a shock as not a single passed the Hindi shorthand speed of 80 words per minute. A total of 5889 candidates had qualified for the stage 1 exam. However, in the second stage exam, all candidates failed to qualify the shorthand test.Â
How Many Students Failed in the UPPSC APS Exam?
According to the result statistics, a total of 4,240 had appeared for the UPSSC recruitment examination. Out of which not a single candidate has qualified the exam. The total candidates who were declared qualified in the first stage examination were 5889 candidates.Â
UPPSC APS 2023 Examination
The commission conducted the first-stage examination on January 7, 2024, and its result was declared on March 4, 2024. A total of 5,889 candidates were declared successful and qualified for the second stage. The second stage exam was held in Lucknow on between June 28 and July 18, 2024, in two shifts and in which 4,240 candidates appeared for 331 APS posts. In the second stage, candidates will be required to have 80 words per minute speed in 5 minutes for dictation and a transcription time of 60 minutes. In the typing test, a candidate must be able to type 25 words per minutes for 5 minutes.
