Weather Today (01 March 2026): As India enters early March, the temperature is rising steadily with the northwestern parts of the country experiencing unusually warm days. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted dry weather for most parts of the country today, while a weak Western Disturbance may lead to isolated rainfall or snowfall in some parts of the north.
In the northern hills, particularly over Jammu and Kashmir, there may be isolated snow showers from March 4 to 7. The plains may remain dry during the initial week of March while the higher hills may experience scattered activity due to the arrival of weak western disturbances.
