Weather Today (11, February 2026): The weather map across India tells a divided story today while winter hangs on a little longer in the north, the heart of the country and the south has started heating up to welcome summer. From the snowfall in Kashmir to the rising temperatures in Tamil Nadu, the forecast brings to the fore how fast the seasons are changing.
Light snowfall is expected in higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir including Gulmarg, Sonamarg, Pahalgam and the Daksum-Sinthan belt where plains may see brief spells of rain, but no major disruption is forecast.
Delhi is set for a pleasant day with temperatures ranging between 16°C and 27°C where light winds and mild sunshine will dominate and there is no major change expected over the next five days, signalling winter’s gradual exit.
Chennai is already slipping into early summer mode and the city recorded a high of 30.5°C with interior Tamil Nadu districts crossing 34°C while coastal humidity remains moderate, but heat is building steadily.
Mumbai remains warm and breezy with temperatures hovering between 24°C and 29°C where as sea winds are strong, offering some relief from humidity, especially during evening hours.
Hyderabad will see a dry and warm day with a high of 30°C while temperatures are expected to climb to 33°C by the weekend, a clear sign of seasonal transition.
Interior Karnataka districts are warming faster than usual and day temperatures in some regions are nearing 32°C, while coastal belts remain relatively stable.
Lucknow and surrounding regions are recording daytime highs near 27°C where morning chill persists, but afternoons feel noticeably warmer, especially in central UP.
Jaipur is experiencing clear skies with temperatures moving towards 30°C by the weekend and winds remain light, making afternoons slightly uncomfortable.
Srinagar remains bitterly cold with temperatures dipping to minus 17°C in some pockets while daytime temperatures are slowly improving, easing cold wave conditions.
Chandigarh and nearby regions are witnessing mild winter conditions with maximum temperatures are around 24°C with a steady warming trend expected.
Ahmedabad is among the hottest metros today, touching 32°C where the city is expected to see highs of 35°C over the weekend, indicating an early summer onset.
