Weather Today (17, February 2026): India’s weather remains highly variable this week, with temperature extremes, localized rainfall and snowfall in the hills. From the plains of Delhi-NCR to the southern coastlines of Chennai and Kerala, residents are experiencing fluctuations in maximum and minimum temperatures, often 2–4°C above seasonal norms while air quality and wind conditions continue to influence daily life.
Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand are expected to see isolated snowfall and rainfall on February 18–19 while wind speeds around 10–20 km/h may accompany the precipitation with temperatures in the hill stations ranging from -3°C to 8°C. The activity is driven by a western disturbance moving across northern India.
