Weather Today (22, February 2026): As the end of February approaches, the weather in India is changing. The northern part of the country is warming up, while the southern part is preparing for heavy rainfall unusual temperature fluctuations and some local weather characteristics have made everyone alert.

Will it Rain or Snow in the Hills?

In the Himalayan range, the higher areas may receive scattered snowfall, whereas the lower hills receive sporadic rainfall. Srinagar and Leh are defying the February average, with the maximum temperatures rising to nearly 21°C in Srinagar and 8.3°C in Leh.

Mist in the morning, winds 7.2 km/h WNW, humidity 75%, UV Index 5.25 with temperatures expected to rise to 33°C by the weekend.
