BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari took the oath as the chief minister of West Bengal on Saturday. West Bengal Election 2026: Full list of West Bengal Cabinet Ministers
1. Dilip Ghosh
A senior BJP leader and former West Bengal BJP president, Dilip Ghosh, was inducted into the State Cabinet. He secured victory in the West Bengal Assembly 2026 polls from the Kharagpur seat by defeating the rival TMC by over 30,000 votes. He was recognised for expanding the party’s outreach in West Bengal.
2. Agnimitra Paul
Agnimitra Paul, a fashion designer-turned-legislator, secured victory in the Asansol Dakshin seat by 40,839 votes in the West Bengal Assembly election 2026. A significant face in West Bengal BJP, she was inducted into the fresh Cabinet on Saturday. She joined the BJP in 2019 after establishing an accomplished career in fashion design, becoming one of the prominent women leaders in the State.
Ms. Paul has previously served as the president of BJP Mahila Morcha in West Bengal and is currently the party’s State vice-president.
3. Ashok Kirtania
Ashok Kirtania gained victory in Bangaon Uttar by 40,670 votes. His appointment to the State cabinet is expected to give a significant boost to the Matua community, which plays an imperative role in the state’s electorate. He also secured victory in the 2021 Assembly polls from the Bangaon seat.
4. Kshudiram Tudu
A former school teacher, Kshudiram Tudu, is the first-time BJP MLA from the tribal-dominated Ranibandh (ST) constituency in Bankura district who was inducted into West Bengal’s new Cabinet. In his stint as a BJP leader, he has played a significant role in advocating the party’s promises among tribal communities in the Jangalmahal region. He is credited with raising local issues related to tribal rights and rural development in the tribal populated regions in West Bengal.
5. Nisith Pramanik
Nisith Pramanik is a former Union Minister of State for Home Affairs and Youth Affairs & Sports. He gained victory from the Mathabhanga seat by over 57,000 votes in the recently concluded West Bengal Assembly polls. His induction into West Bengal’s fresh Cabinet is likely to consolidate his supporter base in North Bengal, where the BJP enjoys significant support of youth voters. He was a TMC leader before joining the BJP in 2019.
