Deepinder Goyal is an Indian investor, entrepreneur and former founder & CEO of Zomato’s parent company Eternal, which is a worldwide food delivery & dine-in app. He has completed his graduation from IIT Delhi. He has worked in many companies, like Bain and Company, Eternal (ventures like Blinkit, District, and Hyperpure). He started Zomato in 2008 and then Foodiebay.

Deepinder Goyal’s Net Worth 

Deepinder Goyal’s networth consists of 160 crores USD/ ₹14,560 crore INR (approximate) up till now. Recent estimates peg it at ₹15,284 crore, including a ₹52.3 crore luxury apartment in Gurugram’s DLF The Camellias, 5 acres of Delhi land (₹79 crore), and luxury cars like Ferrari Roma, Porsche 911 Turbo, Lamborghini Urus, and Aston Martin DB12. 



Why has the CEO of Eternal Resigned?

“Of late, I have found myself drawn to a set of new ideas that involve significantly higher-risk exploration and experimentation. These are the kinds of ideas that are better pursued outside a public company like Eternal,” said Deepinder Goyal. He also added, “Eternal deserves to remain focused and disciplined, while exploring new areas of growth that are relevant to its current line of business”.

Who will take over?

Albinder Dhindsa is a prominent Indian entrepreneur and startup leader. He co-founded Grofers, which later rebranded as Blinkit and became a major quick-commerce platform. Dhindsa played a central role in building Blinkit’s rapid-delivery model. Over the years, he has earned a reputation for strong operational discipline. His work helped shape India’s instant grocery delivery space. He now leads Eternal at the group level.
