IND vs ENG Highlights, 3rd T20I Match Updates: That is a crushing defeat for England. As if the defeats weren’t enough, Shreyas Iyer now has the unnecessary record for India’s biggest run loss. Abhishek Sharma was seen in the dugout tossing his head back in disgust and covering his eyes with his hands in disappointment. Vaibhav, his opening partner, was also shown looking up in shock. For you, that is the characteristic of the Indian innings. They found fielders, hit shots, and timed them (too) well. Even after the early defeats, they were unwilling to concede. It’s one of those games for the Indian team, but it comes after the team won the T20 World Cup and hasn’t won a single match.

Earlier in the first innings, Phil Salt (70), Jos Buttler (36) and Sam Curran (41) guided the hosts to a mammoth total of 201 runs in the first innings after being put in to bat. Meanwhile, Prince Yadav playing only his fourth international game, picked up a couple of wickets. Harshit Rana picked up two wickets as well while Axar Patel picked up a solitary wicket in an expensive spell.

India won the toss and decided to bowl first in the third T20I. Shreyas Iyer announced that Prince Yadav will be returning to the playing XI in place of Ravi Bishnoi. Having made a record-breaking debut in the previous game, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi will once again be under all the attention. The 15-year-old batter scored 14, including hitting a couple of sixes in India’s loss. With the first game being abandoned, it is the hosts who have taken the lead in the five-match T20I series thanks to Jacob Bethell’s unbeaten knock of 76 runs off 46 deliveries. It will be interesting to see if the visitors make a change to their playing XI.

India vs England T20I Series

It is the third T20I of the series, and the hosts have a 1-0 lead so far in the five-match series. The first game of the series was washed out and was abandoned after the first innings. Meanwhile, in the second game, all eyes were on Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, as the 15-year-old became the youngest Indian to make an international debut. However, it was another young batter, Jacob Bethell, who was the star performer in the game. The left-handed batter at number four played an unbeaten knock of 76 runs in 46 balls, hitting five fours and sixes each. His knock meant England chased down the target of 191 runs with four wickets in hand and an over to spare.
