‘Centre should start dialogue’

Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and National Conference president Farooq Abdullah has suggested that India and Pakistan accept present realities and start a dialogue process to give “maximum autonomy to both parts of Kashmir”, adding that is the only solution to the “present Kashmir mess”. Abdullah was talking to this reporter on the sidelines of an NC function at the party headquarters on Saturday.“Prime Minister Narendra Modi should announce bold steps to resolve the Kashmir issue and give Kashmiris back what successive Central governments have sanctioned from them,” he said.
