Faith in God is the answer to fear

opinionFaith in God is the answer to fear
Jesus understands our fears. He has provided us a solution, His friendship. When we have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as our friend and Saviour, He guides us through life. He offers us a Comforter, the Holy Spirit and, he helps us to overcome fear by allowing us to experience His perfect love.
Fear will always knock on your door. Just don’t let it in. Learn to trust more and fear less. We subject ourselves to a position of fear by allowing anxiety to dominate and define our lives. Joy-snapping worries, and repeated bouts of insecurity frighten and paralyze us.
The promises of Jesus Christ offer powerful alternatives to the voices of fear, reminding us repeatedly, “Do not be afraid.”
Have you found that you feel alone when you are fearful? Jesus promises never to leave you or forsake you. 1 John 4:18 says; “No fear exists where his love is. Rather, perfect love gets rid of fear, because fear involves punishment.
The person who lives in fear doesn’t have perfect love.”We fear punishment for our wrongdoings. Our conscience pricks us and depresses us. We need to remember that failures are not final. We also need to confess our sins and repent, and ask God for His grace and empowerment.
We can defeat the fears in our lives because Jesus loves us.
We can overcome the feelings of “No one will understand,” with a sense of His love. Jesus promises that He will stick closer to us than a brother.
Your fears are very real to you but they do not need to control your life. You can take back that control by allowing Jesus Christ to help you. The answer to fear is faith in the promises of the living God. God gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless (Isa. 40:29).
