BJP confident of Northeast sweep: Rijiju

Kiren Rijiju, Union Minister of Earth Sciences, is confident that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP will sweep the 25 Lok Sabha seats in the Northeast. He said Congress or its allies were nowhere near the BJP in the contest in the north-east.

At the India New Manch 2023, he said, “I assure you that the BJP will sweep all the Lok Sabha seats in the northeastern states. Currently, in the Northeast, either we are in power or alliance in 7 out of 8 states.”

Rijiju said the Modi-led BJP government had done development work in every part of India. He highlighted that since the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, cases of terror have decreased, and now every scheme of the Central government is being executed to the last mile in Jammu and Kashmir. He said that in our childhood, we used to listen to the development in the US, Germany, China, UK, etc., and used to think when we will hear the same about our country.

Now it is possible, and we are listening to the name of our country in the top countries in the world, and it became possible only under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi.

In a separate session, BJP in-charge of Haryana and former Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb said that in 2024, the BJP would win all the 10 Lok Sabha seats in Haryana under the leadership of PM Modi. He said, “We will also come to power in the state because of the hard work and dedication put in by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar.” Deb said that Brand Modi is spread all over the country, that every individual in the country wants Modi to return to power, and even the nonvoters (students) want the PM to regain power in 2024.

He slammed the opposition by saying, “The Opposition used to always say that the government is at your doorstep but never implemented the schemes, but the BJP is the only party that executed this under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.” Now it becomes easy for the voters to vote for the BJP as the real face of the opposition gets exposed, he added.
