Khemkaran: In a demonstration of vigilance along the Indo-Pak border, the Border Security Force (BSF) today intercepted and recovered a Pakistani drone near the village of Khemkaran in Punjab’s Tarn Taran district. Alert BSF troops detected the movement of a rogue drone attempting to infiltrate Indian airspace. The prompt detection triggered an immediate search operation, during which a DJI Mavic 3 Classic drone was located and recovered from a paddy field ahead of the border fence. Officials confirmed that the drone was recovered intact and did not appear to be carrying any payload, although a comprehensive forensic and technical examination is underway to determine its origin and intended mission. “This successful interception reaffirms the BSF’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding our borders. Our alert bordermen once again foiled an illicit cross-border attempt, ensuring national security is never compromised,” stated a senior BSF official.
