Congress on Thursday held the meeting to discuss the reasons for a poor show in Bihar assembly polls where many candidates alleged the Rs 10,000 transferred to women just during polls in violation of model code of conduct and also the special intensive revision of voter rolls due to which many voters were left out, sources said.
While some candidates also alleged that many tickets were sold and also how the change of the Bihar Congress chief Akhilesh Prasad Singh being removed from the post just right months ahead of the polls.

The sources said that Kharge, Rahul Gandhi and Venugopal met the party candidates in the group of 10, where Rahul Gandhi noted the reasons for party's poor show in Bihar.
After the meeting, speaking to the media, Akhilesh Prasad Singh and Tariq Anwar said that a very detailed meeting took place and Rahul Gandhi and Kharge listened to all the candidates.
They even mentioned that Rahul Gandhi took al the points and that will be considered in coming days.
Meanwhile, Congress sources said that Rahul Gandhi during meeting said that the vote percentage of the party remained intact but organisation has gone weak. The sources also said that Rahul Gandhi also mentioned how even RJD's vote share was same but it's seat went down.
However, sources said that during the meeting the party candidates mentioned the reasons for poor show in assembly polls, where Mahagatbandhan was reduced to 35 seats while the NDA registered a historic victory winning 202 seats.
The sources said that the candidates mentioned how Rs 10,000 transferred to women during polls in violation MCC under Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana proved a game changer. Many candidates also alleged that how to keys were sold during polls, a charge denied some of the party candidates as they said that tickets were given on the basis of survey and winnability factor of the candidates.
The sources further said that some candidates also blamed the SIT exercise taken out in Bihar by the Election Commission and removed thousands of voters in several assembly seats.
However, a rumor sparked that there was heated argument before meeting about giving tickets to outsiders between Engineer Sanjeev and Purnia candidate Jitendra Kumar.
Engineer Sanjeev Kumar and Pappu Yadav denied the allegations of any such hot talks and clarified over the issue.
Pappu Yadav also said that these are baseless allegations.
The meeting comes almost two weeks after the Congress-led Mahagatbandhan performed poorly and the grand old party winning only on six seats out of 61 seats it contested.
