Over 10 Amarnath Pilgrims Injured in Kulgam After Collision Involving 3 Yatra Vehicles

Over ten Amarnath pilgrims injured as three buses collide in Kulgam; all stable and referred to GMC Anantnag for treatment.

Kulgam: Over ten Amarnath Yatra pilgrims were injured after three vehicles collided during convoy movement in the Khudwani area of Kulgam along the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, officials said.

According to officials, the incident took place near the Tachloo crossing when three Yatra buses, en route to Baltal, collided with each other.

“More than ten pilgrims sustained injuries and were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment,” an official said.

A doctor at Qaimoh Hospital confirmed that nine injured pilgrims were administered first aid at the facility and subsequently referred to Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag.

“All of them suffered minor injuries and are in stable condition. They were referred to GMC for further treatment and completion of necessary formalities,” the doctor added.
