Rising Sun Conclave Marks Milestone in India-Japan Relations

‘The Rising Sun Conclave’ unfolded as the greatest and most significant gathering in the illustrious history of India-Japan relations on March 13. The event served as a monumental testament to the enduring bond between these two nations, stretching back over centuries.

The conclave commenced with a poignant Lamp lighting ceremony, graced by the esteemed presence of Union Minister of State for External Affairs & Culture Meenakshi Lekhi. In her address, Lekhi emphasised the profound historical ties between India and Japan, spanning centuries of cultural exchange and mutual respect.

Distinguished guests from Japanese embassy, DCM Ariyoshi Takashi, Vice Chancellor of Gujarat university Neerja Gupta and panelists including Major General Gagan Deep Bakshi, Anand Ranganathan, Tehseen Poonawalla and Rahul Shivshankar delved into the complexities of geopolitical dynamics, shedding light on the transition from spiritual to geo-political perspectives.
