The 137th Rose Parade returns to Pasadena, California, as one of America’s most beloved New Year’s traditions. The procession of floral floats, marching bands and equestrian units will travel more than 5 miles along Colorado Boulevard, welcoming the new year with colour and pageantry. 

Rose Parade 2026 Live TV Broadcast: Where to Watch Live on TV?

Fans can watch the parade on multiple national networks:

  • ABC: Live broadcast beginning at 11 a.m. ET with hosts Kevin Negandhi, Hannah Storm and John Naber. 
  • NBC: Coverage in English. 
  • Telemundo: Spanish-language broadcast. 
  • CNN, Fox, Great American Family, KTLA, Univision: Additional televised coverage. 

These channels offer live parade coverage along with commentary on floats, bands and features.

ABC’s broadcast will be hosted by ESPN SportsCenter anchors Kevin Negandhi and Hannah Storm, with longtime reporter John Naber on the ground at the iconic “TV Corner” in Pasadena. ESPN continues to produce this coverage, including enhanced graphics and storytelling features.

Rose Parade 2026 Weather Forecast: Rain Expected

For the first time in nearly two decades, rain is expected during the parade. The National Weather Service predicts a near-100% chance of rain and possible thunderstorms in Pasadena on New Year’s Day.

Organizers say the parade will go on “rain or shine” and that floats and participants are preparing for wet conditions. Umbrellas are generally not allowed along the parade route to avoid blocking views.

Spectators in Pasadena often begin lining the streets early in the morning or even the day before to secure ideal spots. After the parade, many events like Floatfest allow close-up viewing of the colourful floats. When Does the 2026 Rose Parade Start?

The 2026 Rose Parade begins at 8 a.m. Pacific Time (11 a.m. Eastern Time) on January 1. The procession will last around two hours, following a 5.5-mile route from Green Street and Orange Grove Boulevard to Villa Street in Pasadena. Spectators are advised to arrive early for the best viewing spots.
