Delhi is likely to witness unusually warm, early summer-like conditions on Monday, 02 March, 2026 with temperatures staying 20 to 28 degrees Celsius above normal for this time of year.
According to the IMD, the country is likely to experience a warmer-than-average March. In most parts of the northern and central regions, the temperatures during the day will remain between 20-33°C with some areas experiencing an increase of 6-12°C above the normal temperatures due to the lack of cloud formation and rainfall.
For Monday, March 2, the weather remains largely dry across most of the country including the plains of Punjab, Haryana and Delhi where as light rain may occur in isolated pockets of Tamil Nadu, Kerala and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
