North India is likely to witness unusually warm, early summer-like conditions on Saturday, 07 March, 2026. Maximum temperatures in Delhi and surrounding areas are trending above normal, reaching up to 35°C–38°C. According to the IMD, the country is likely to experience a warmer-than-average March. In most parts of the northern and central regions, the temperatures during the day will remain between 21-38°C with some areas experiencing an increase of 3-7°C above the normal.

According to the weather forecast, some parts of the Western Himalayas can expect some rain and snow from March 7 to 11. The MeT department predicts light rain and snow over the higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand starting today due to a weak western disturbance. East India may see isolated showers over Odisha and West Bengal due to a cyclonic circulation. South India will likely experience hot and humid conditions over Kerala and Rayalaseema. Fishermen are advised to be cautious as surface winds may gust up to 40 kmph along certain coastal stretches.
