Delhi is likely to witness unusually warm, early summer-like conditions on Monday, 10 March, 2026 with temperatures staying 24 to 37 degrees Celsius above normal for this time of year.
According to the IMD, the country is likely to experience a warmer-than-average March. In most parts of the northern and central regions, the temperatures during the day will remain between 22-39°C with some areas experiencing an increase of 4-6°C above the normal temperatures due to the lack of cloud formation and rainfall.
According to the weather forecast, some parts of the Western Himalayas can expect some rain and snow from March 7 to 11. Temperatures are soaring across northwest and central India where delhi recorded a seven-day average temperature roughly 7.3°C above normal and the hottest first week of March in 50 years as of March 2026 is breaking early heat records last set in 2011.
