Weather Today (28, January 2026): Today's weather across India reflects the late-season fluctuations of winter as parts of Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan are experiencing sporadic showers and lower daytime temperatures due to a western disturbance affecting the northern plains while southern interior regions have mild sunshine, coastal cities like Chennai and Mumbai remain mostly dry and relatively warm with sub-zero temperatures with fresh snow in some areas, the high Himalayas continue to experience bitter cold. Even in late January, India's climate is still diverse, as evidenced by these varied patterns.
