OnePlus 15R, OnePlus Pad Go 2 Launch LIVE Updates: OnePlus has scheduled a major launch for today, December 17, 2025, to launch its latest smartphone, OnePlus 15R and tablet, OnePlus Pad Go 2, for the Indian market. The OnePlus 15R smartphone and OnePlus Pad Go 2 tablet will launch at a live event in Bengaluru tonight at 7 PM.

OnePlus 15R and OnePlus Pad Go 2 India Price

OnePlus 15R price in India will starting at Rs. 47,999 for the base 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, slightly higher than the OnePlus 13R, which launched at Rs. 42,999. 

OnePlus Pad Go 2 price is starting from Rs. 26,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage with WiFi.

OnePlus 15R Specifications

OnePlus 15R is the centre of this launch. The phone is confirmed to run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, giving it fast performance for apps and games. 

One Plus 15R runs on the OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16 with AI features as AI portrait glow and AI Unblur. It will come in Charcoal Black and Minty Green shades.

OnePlus has highlighted a 7,400 mAh battery, smooth display with 165Hz refresh rate, primary sensor uses 50MP Sony IMX906 shooter with OIS, 32 MP front camera and fast wired charging. 

OnePlus Pad Go 2 Specifications

OnePlus Pad Go 2 is launching as the successor to its budget-friendly tablet. OnePlus Pad Go 2 features a large 12.1-inch display with crisp visuals and a 10,050 mAh battery. It will run on a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset with smooth everyday performance. 

OnePlus Pad Go 2 running on OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16 adding number of AI features with the tablet while also adding its signature Open Canvas feature which allows users to open two apps at a time along with a floating window.

OnePlus PadGo 2 will feature a 10,050 mAh battery that should last through long usage sessions. 

OnePlus 15r launch date

OnePlus 15r will launch today, December 17 today in India along with OnePlus Pad Go 2. The event will be live-streamed through OnePlus’s official YouTube channel.

OnePlus has highlighted a 7,400 mAh battery, which is among the largest ever seen on its phones and promises long battery life. The phone will come with 80W wired fast charging that can top up the device from 0 to 50% in just 23 minutes.

The phone is confirmed to run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, giving it fast performance for apps and games.

OnePlus 15 and OnePlus 15r differ mainly in performance. OnePlus 15 runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, while OnePlus 15r will run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. 

On the display front, the 15R may offer a higher refresh rate of up to 165Hz, while the OnePlus 15 sticks to a premium 120Hz AMOLED panel.

Battery life is another key difference between the two phones. OnePlus 15R will likely be packing a much larger battery of around 7,400mAh, compared to the 4,800–5,000mAh battery on the OnePlus 15.
