God is always a part of our journey

opinionGod is always a part of our journey
Christian life is vibrant and exciting; a journey freely available to all who cultivate their relationship with God. An intimate relationship with God, through Christ our mediator, provides us with the unconditional love for which we long. God’s love enables us to love Him and those around us.
As our relationship with Him deepens, we no longer struggle to do the things God calls us to do; it happens naturally. Our spiritual life flows unhindered, watering the other areas of our life. In accordance with God’s desire, we begin to live our life by His grace for His glory.
Do you believe that God wants to journey with us? Indeed, He wants us to continually fellowship with Him; as if with our closest friend or family member. Spending time with God and loving Him back and being grateful for what He has done and is doing in our lives leads to deepened intimacy.
At times, our relationship with God is not marked with freedom. Many of us don’t pray and ask God for what we need because we don’t think we have a right to ask. The truth is God wants us to learn how to receive His mercy. The Bible teaches us that Jesus is our “High Priest, a perfect Saviour, who understands our weaknesses.
He’s been tempted just like we are, yet He never sinned. We can come fearlessly and confidently before God in prayer to receive His mercy and be forgiven” (Heb. 4:15-16).
God loves us and cares for us. “If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all – how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?” (Rom. 8:31-32).
A life lived with God is easy to identify; it continually increases in gratitude, generosity, justice and love towards God and all His creation.
