The Lord has even given you free will. You will be intelligent if you surrender that free will to Him. Tell Him that let only that thought come to your mind which the Lord wants. In the Gita, the Lord had told Arjun that do what you like but first listen to me. Towards the end of his discourse, the Lord tells Arjun that “I have told you what I think is right, now you do what you think is right”. But in the end Arjun fully surrenders to the Lord’s advice and says, “I surrender to you, I will do only what you say.”
Now the question is: “How do you know what God wants you to do?” The Lord has explicitly given His orders in the Gita. The orders are: “You know your will. Yes? So give that up and act according to what is your rightful duty.” So how does one find out whether God is happy with what you have done? The sign that God is happy with your work is, that when you feel peace, and happiness after an action, understand that God is happy with your action. You have acted with God, in God and as God. You are not separate from Him. That is a pratibhanti. A lady dreamt of a tiger and asked him, “Are you going to eat me?” The tiger replied, “It is your dream, you decide.” So nobody asked, and nobody replied, and nobody ate anyone. This is pratibhanti. There is no separate existence. You came from Brahman, you are in Brahman, and you are Brahman. A seeker has to only understand that he is not different from the Lord of this universe. Flow with Him.
