In Pics: F1 Japanese Grand Prix 2026 Special Liveries — Mercedes’ Wolf, Haas’ Godzilla, Racing Bulls’ Cherry Steal The Show
For the F1 2026 Japanese Grand Prix, Mercedes, Haas, and Racing Bulls have each unveiled special one-off liveries that celebrate Japanese culture and strategic brand partnerships. The Silver Arrows introduced a wolf-inspired front wing design ‘unleashing the beast’ meanwhile, the Racing Bulls bring the touch of Sakura in their design. Haas, on the other hand, have launched a Godzilla-themed livery. Let’s have a look at the stunning car designs ahead of the race starts on March 28-29.
Mercedes Wolf Livery
Mercedes' wolf-inspired front wing design for the W17 is created in collaboration with Japanese fashion brand Y-3, and draws meaning from Japanese mythology to embody a "guardian-like" aerodynamic philosophy—balancing aggression with control.

Russell, Antonelli at Japanese Grand Prix
Mercedes is currently leading the Constructors' Championship with 98 points. George Russell is leading the drivers standigs (51 points) and the sensational Italian rookie Kimi Antonelli stands seconds (47 points).
Haas Godzilla Livery
Haas is considered a "home team" in Japan and their 2026 livery for Suzuka is a tribute to Japanese pop culture and corporate ties. Created with Tokyo’s Toho Co., the Godzilla design celebrates their title partnership with Toyota Gazoo Racing and the leadership of Japanese Team Principal Ayao Komatsu.

The car maintains its base white, black, and red colors but incorporates Godzilla graphics across the engine cover and air intake.
Haas F1 Drivers
Haas enters the Japanese Grand Prix sitting in a strong 4th place with 17 points, largely thanks to their technical alliance with Toyota. All of their points have been scored by the young Briton Oliver Bearman, who holds 5th in the Drivers' Championship after a standout performance in Shanghai. Meanwhile, his veteran teammate Esteban Ocon is still looking for his first points of the season in the Godzilla-themed VF-26, currently sitting 16th in the standings.
Racing Bulls Japanese Grand Prix 2026 Livery
Racing Bulls unveiled a vibrant white, red, and silver livery during the Red Bull Tokyo Drift event. The design is inspired by the Red Bull Spring Edition energy drink and the Japanese Sakura (cherry blossom) season.
Racing Bulls New Livery
Created with Japanese calligrapher Bisen Aoyagi, the livery uses traditional shodo (calligraphy) brush strokes to represent the motion and speed of F1.
Meet the Drivers
Racing Bulls hold 6th place in the standings with 12 points. Liam Lawson leads the charge for the team in 9th place with 8 points, while 18-year-old rookie Arvid Lindblad has impressed the paddock by securing 4 points and 10th in the standings during his debut month.
