The personal life of Arsenal striker Viktor Gyokeres is once again under the spotlight due to a series of cryptic social media posts from his ex-girlfriend, Ines Aguiar. Since the Swedish international has been a wonder by Mikel Arteta’s side after his major transfer from Sporting Lisbon, his love affair with the Portuguese model reportedly ended in July 2025 so he could dedicate himself fully to his Premier League adaptation.

Yet, the most recent signs indicate that the two might have gotten back together in North London. Aguiar triggered a huge wave of speculation among the Gunners fans when she was seen at the One Call Stadium during Arsenal’s recent FA Cup 2026 match against Mansfield Town, indicating the “ruthless” break was only temporary.

To make matters worse (or better), the actress and model from Portugal wrote “Somewhere in a very recent past” under her post, which many supporters took as a quiet acknowledgement of the time she shared with Arsenal No. 14.

This news comes just after rumours last summer that Gyokeres had “completely cut off” his life in Portugal so as to be able to focus fully on the Premier League. The duo was the talk of the town while he was at Sporting CP, but the distance and the pressure of the Arsenal signing resulted in a professional “cold” split.

Now, given that Aguiar is spotted in a rainy Mansfield Town venue instead of a glamorous Lisbon event, it looks like the couple is balancing their love life while Gyokeres is enjoying his career soaring in London.
