Aryna Sabalenka vs Taylor Townsend Prediction And Form
Aryna Sabalenka enters as the clear favorite, riding her status as two-time defending champion and top seed. The Belarusian has cruised through her opening rounds and will look to serve well and avoid a decider against the American.
Taylor Townsend, meanwhile, has been in fine touch on home soil, backed by a fired-up Ashe crowd after a confident third-round win. Her first serve was near-flawless in round two, though her second-serve numbers dipped slightly in round three.
If Townsend starts strong and finds her angles early, she has the game to trouble Sabalenka, but the Belarusian’s power and big-match experience make her the strong favorite to advance.
