India added four more medals to its Asian Games 2026 tally on Saturday, October 3, as the final day of competition began with a busy morning in Aichi-Nagoya. The latest to join the list is Neeraj Chauhan who won bronze in the men’s individual recurve archery, defeating compatriot Dhiraj Bommadevara 6-4 in an all-India medal match.

India have enjoyed a memorable double in golf. Pranavi Urs won gold in the women’s individual event, finishing at 15-under 265, while Aditi Ashok, Pranavi Urs and Diksha Dagar won silver in the women’s team event. Pranavi became the first Indian woman to win an individual golf gold at the Asian Games.

The gold rush continued in archery as Kumkum Mohod won the women’s individual recurve gold. She defeated South Korea’s Oh Yejin in a shoot-off after the final ended 5-5, shooting a 10 against Oh’s 8. The result also secured a quota place for India at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

With those results, India’s latest medal tally stands at 18 gold, 26 silver and 36 bronze medals, for a total of 80 medals.
