Boston College linebacker Bodie Kahoun was taken off the field on a stretcher during the second quarter of the Eagles’ 28-21 win over Rutgers on Friday night after suffering an injury while making a tackle.
Kahoun brought down Rutgers running back Antwan Raymond but remained on the field as medical staff from both teams attended to him. The game was delayed for several minutes while the training staff assessed the linebacker.
Kahoun was eventually placed on a stretcher and taken to an ambulance for further medical attention. Before he was loaded into the ambulance, he gave the crowd a thumbs-up.
