The UEFA Champions League knockout play-offs kick off at Signal Iduna Park on Tuesday, where Borussia Dortmund take on Atalanta in the first leg of their two-legged tie.
The Black and Yellow finished 17th in the league phase with 11 points, advancing to the play-offs despite consecutive defeats to Tottenham Hotspur and Inter Milan in their final two matches of that stage.
Dortmund head into the clash in strong domestic form. Following a commanding 4-0 win over Mainz 05 on Friday, Niko Kovač’s side have now won six straight Bundesliga matches. They are also unbeaten in their last 15 games across all competitions since October’s defeat to Bayern Munich.
