The Cincinnati Open 2026 will miss yesteryear’s finalists Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner. But the tournament remains thrilling with the participation of one of the Big Three, Novak Djokovic, and German star Alexander Zverev in the men’s draw. Meanwhile, on the women’s side, World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka, along with the ongoing Canadian Open finalists Iga Swiatek and Elena Rybakina, are all included in the event starting from August 13.

Novak Djokovic Shares The Same Half as Alexander Zverev

Entering as the third seed, Djokovic is making his first ATP Tour appearance since falling to Jannik Sinner in the Wimbledon semi-finals in July. The 39-year-old Serbian has dominated in Ohio in the past, holding a 45-12 record and three Cincinnati titles. After receiving a first-round bye, he will face either Jan Choinski or Thiago Agustin Tirante.

If he advances, his third-round opponent could be Jack Draper, Matteo Arnaldi, or up-and-coming talent Martin Landaluce. He also shares the same half of the draw as top seed Alexander Zverev, setting up a potential blockbuster clash later in the tournament.
