After closing the parliament building’s gates, the cops had allegedly started using sticks and tear gas to disperse the crowd from their sights. A few protestors have revealed that they suffered some injuries due to the police wielding canes too but a few reportedly also threw stones. With the police allegedly wielding canes and releasing tear gas, some celebrities and sportsperson have raised their voice in favour of the protestors. With Sonam Wangchuk’s hunger strike exceeding 20 days now, officials are also keeping a close eye on his health. It’s worth noting that the Instagram Story itself did not contain an explicit political statement from Ritika Sajdeh; it was a repost of the interview clip featuring the child.
