Pakistan and Karachi Kings pacer Hasan Ali had seemingly copied Indian keeper-batter KL Rahul’s celebration in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2026 game against the Multan Sultans on April 19, Sunday at the National Stadium in Karachi. After taking a catch to get the dangerous Steve Smith out early for a duck, the right-arm pacer pointed to the ground, seemingly to claim it’s his yard similar to Rahul’s gesture in IPL.
When did KL Rahul made the viral gesture in IPL?
It was the 24th match of IPL between the Delhi Capitals and the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the Chinnaswamy Stadium when the keeper-batter showcased the viral celebration. Although Rahul grew up playing at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, he is currently plying his trade for the Capitals and started his stint with the franchise in 2025. After nailing the run-chase of 164 by hitting a six and staying unbeaten on 93, Rahul dug the bat onto the pitch and pointed to the turf in celebration.
Meanwhile, below is the video of Hasan Ali’s celebration
