England vs Pakistan 3rd Test Day 3 LIVE Streaming: England are firmly in control of the third Test after posting 453 all out in their first innings and reducing Pakistan to 52/2 at stumps on Day 2. Pakistan therefore trail England by 268 runs, with Shan Masood unbeaten on 21 and Azan Awais not out on 29.

England started Day 2 with a 23-run first-innings lead after bowling Pakistan out for just 133 on the opening day. The hosts then produced a strong batting display to reach 453, taking a massive 320-run lead over Pakistan.

Four England batters scored half-centuries during the innings. Harry Brook top-scored with 75, while Jamie Smith made 69 and Dan Lawrence contributed 65. Emilio Gay, who had scored 60 on Day 1, was followed by Ollie Robinson, who made a valuable 50, while Jofra Archer remained unbeaten on 32.

Pakistan’s Razaullah was the pick of their bowlers despite conceding plenty of runs. The debutant pacer claimed four wickets for 148 runs from 23 overs, adding to the two wickets he took on Day 1. Mohammad Imran Randhawa picked up two wickets, while Mohammad Ali also claimed two.

Pakistan’s second innings began disastrously. Ollie Robinson, who has been one of England’s standout bowlers in the series, struck twice in the opening over to dismiss Saim Ayub and Abdullah Shafique cheaply. The Pakistan openers were unable to withstand the early pressure, but Shan Masood and Azan Awais steadied the innings with an unbeaten 52-run partnership for the third wicket.

Rain then brought an early end to the day’s proceedings, with Pakistan finishing on 52/2 after 12.4 overs. With Pakistan still 268 runs behind and their lower order yet to bat, England will be favourites to wrap up the Test quickly on Day 3 if they can make early breakthroughs.

Pakistan, meanwhile, need a major batting fightback to extend the contest. Their first-innings total of 133 was followed by another difficult start in the second innings, and the visitors will need their remaining batters to produce a much stronger performance when play resumes.
