The account on the social media platform of X claims that Pandya or Suryakumar Yadav are expected to be part of the swap deal and move to the SunRisers. In return, the Mumbai Indians have asked for Ishan Kishan and a SunRisers bowler. One of the earlier reports indicated that Suryakumar is set to be released by the Mumbai Indians after his batting struggles in the 2026 edition as he finished with only 270 runs in 13 matches, averaging less than 25. Nevertheless, these are unverified claims and there is no reliable source backing up these claims.
