Why were Lucknow Super Giants cheerleaders dancing behind a steel net?
With the fan account on X posting a video of the cheerleaders dancing at the venue in Lucknow, he revealed that the fans throwing notes at them with their contact numbers, deemed as misbehaviour, is the reason behind that. However, no misbehaviour with the cheerleaders have been reported by any of the IPL stakeholder thus far in the ongoing edition.
Here’s the video of the same
Just got to know that only LSG cheerleaders dance behind steel nets because people were throwing notes at them with their contact numbers and offers for them. What even is wrong with people man? This is really embarrassing 👎 pic.twitter.com/b3oJ8V7A64

IPL 2026: How have Lucknow Super Giants performed thus far?
As far as the performance of the Super Giants are concerned, they have been amongst the poorest sides in IPL 2026. Having lost five consecutive matches now, Rishabh Pant and co. are at the bottom of the points table and have managed to win only a couple. They came back tremendously well in the home fixture against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by hitting a last-ball six when the home side needed 7. Mohammed Shami nailed a stunning hit over long-on off Kartik Tyagi’s bowling to tie the match.
But with the match progressing to the super over, the Super Giants’ batting duo of Nicholas Pooran and Aiden Markram were dismissed only in three deliveries. With only one run to win, Rinku Singh needed only a single delivery to get the Knight Riders over the line. The Super Giants, who face a tough road to the playoffs, will next lock horns against the Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium.
