Global Super League 2026 Preview: The third edition of the Global Super League (GSL T20) is set to bring together some of the strongest franchise teams from across the globe in a unique international club competition. Sanctioned by Cricket West Indies (CWI), the tournament will be held entirely at the Guyana National Stadium in Providence, Guyana, from July 23 to August 1, 2026.

Often compared to the former Champions League T20 (CLT20), the Global Super League features champion or representative teams from the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), Pakistan Super League (PSL), Big Bash League (BBL), International League T20 (ILT20), and Major League Cricket (MLC). Defending champions Guyana Amazon Warriors will look to retain their title against reigning ILT20 champions Desert Vipers, PSL giants Lahore Qalandars, Australia’s Perth Scorchers XI and MLC representatives San Francisco Unicorns in a tournament offering a US$1 million prize pool.

Tournament Format

The five participating teams will compete in a single round-robin league stage, with each side playing four matches.

• 10 league-stage matches

• League phase runs until July 29

• The top-ranked team advances directly to the Final

• Teams finishing second and third will contest the Qualifier on July 31

• The winner of the Qualifier will meet the table-toppers in the Final on August 1
