India vs England, 3rd T20I: How much does Team India need in Nottingham?
Meanwhile, the Men in Blue have been set a stiff task at the Trent Bridge in Nottingham, needing to chase a daunting 202 to level the five-game T20I series. After Jos Buttler got the hosts off to an electric start, Phil Salt took the onus on himself despite starting slow. Salt made a 44-ball 70 before being dismissed by Axar Patel, while Sam Curran chipped in with an unbeaten 41 off only 24 deliveries.
Harshit Rana and Prince Yadav picked up two wickets each, with the latter featuring in his first T20I against England. Nevertheless, he was the most economical bowler, finishing with figures of 4-0-30-2. Team India, who had some fielding lapses in the second T20I, are under pressure as they are trailing the series 0-1. The Men in Blue had lost the previous T20I played at this venue.
