ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026: How has India’s and Pakistan’s form been in T20Is?
India women have largely been inconsistent in their build-up to the marquee event. Led by Harmanpreet Kaur, the Women in Blue beat Australia in their backyard to register a historical T20I series victory. However, it was followed by 4-1 series loss to South Africa. They started the tour of England with a comprehensive victory in the first of the three T20Is but lost the next two to concede the series.
Pakistan, meanwhile, beat a modest Zimbabwean side comfortably at home but have lost their first two games to Ireland and West Indies in the first two matches of the tri-series, sparking uncertainty in their preparations.
New Zealand are the defending champions, having beaten South Africa in the final of the 2024 edition.
