The IND vs AFG T20I series will be available to watch on Sony Sports Network on television in India. The digital streaming rights for the three matches are with FanCode, giving fans options to follow the series on both TV and mobile devices.
The ITW Universe, which holds the global rights for the series, allotted the television rights to Sony Sports Network after discussions with other broadcasters, including JioStar, Zee and Unite8.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has approved the schedule, with the ACB subsequently confirming the dates and venue for the three-match series.
ACB Urged To Schedule One Match On Ganesh Chaturthi
While the schedule is currently confirmed, the ACB has received a request to make a minor change and stage one of the three matches on September 14, which falls on Ganesh Chaturthi.
ITW Universe founder Bhairav Shanth has written to ACB CEO Naseeb Khan, requesting the board to consider adjusting the dates. ITW’s preferred schedule includes matches on September 11, 13 and 14, while an alternative proposal features September 13, 14 and either September 16 or 17.
Shanth said hosting a match on Ganesh Chaturthi would be a meaningful gesture towards Indian cricket fans and could further strengthen the goodwill between the ACB, BCCI and Indian cricket supporters.
India vs Afghanistan T20I Series: A Major Occasion
The series will be a significant occasion for Afghanistan, which will officially host India in a bilateral series on Indian soil for the first time. India and Afghanistan have previously played matches at Indian venues, but this series will see Afghanistan designated as the home side.
For India, the three T20Is will also provide valuable preparation ahead of the Asian Games in Japan later in September. Meanwhile, Afghanistan will be looking to make a strong return to T20I cricket after the 2026 T20 World Cup.
