IND vs NZ, 2026: New Zealand Cricket (NZC) has announced the schedule and venues for their all-format series against India that will span from October to December 2026. Along with hosting the Men in Blue, the Black Caps will also host Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Nevertheless, the series against India will capture the eyeballs the most, majorly due to the number of fans they have.

IND vs NZ, 2026: Full schedule of India’s tour of New Zealand

The Indian team last toured New Zealand in the 2019-20, squaring off in three ODIs, five T20Is and a couple of Tests. The tourists swept the T20Is 5-0 but New Zealand secured a sweep in the ODI and Test series that followed. With India not having won a Test series in New Zealand since 2009, the sub-continent powerhouse will look to accomplish the feat this time around. On this occasion, India will also play five ODIs along with as many T20Is and a couple of Tests.

Meanwhile, the tour of New Zealand later this year is also likely to be the last for Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, given they are at the fag end of their careers. The two prolific ODI run-getters have well over 22000 runs together, with Kohli now the second-highest run-getter in the format.

With the 2027 World Cup also on the horizon, both Kohli and Rohit will do everything in their power to ensure their availability and full fitness for the mega event.
