The Indian cricket team is all set to face arch-rivals Pakistan in their crucial Group A clash of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2026 at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Sunday, February 15. The Suryakumar Yadav-led Indian cricket team will arrive for the game, riding on two stunning wins in the ongoing tournament, but they may find it tough to adjust to the Sri Lankan conditions, and the weather could also make things even harder.

Though the drama over Pakistan's participation in the T20 World Cup 2026 match against the Indian cricket team is now over, there are worries that rain could wash out the high-voltage clash. It has to be noted that the weather forecast for Sunday suggests that the chances of rain during the India vs Pakistan match are extremely likely.

Colombo Weather Forecast (Sunday):

According to the weather forecast, there is a 65% chance of rain during the day, with heavy clouds and scattered thunderstorms expected during the daytime. Around the match time, which is 7:00 PM, some reports say that the rain chance could still be 49%-65%, and at night, the chances drop to about 25%.

The weather will likely be humid, with north winds of about 11 mph.
