Zimbabwe Cricket has announced a strong 15-man squad for their home T20I series against India. Stalwart all-rounder Sikandar Raza will lead the home contingent, while they will face the Indian side under Shreyas Iyer for three matches that will be played on July 23, July 25, and July 26, 2026, at the renowned Harare Sports Club. After their recent T20I series with Bangladesh, the home selection panel have made several notable inclusions into the squad, including offering a first T20I call-up to 32-year-old wicketkeeper-batter Tafadzwa Tsiga. The home series will also serve as an opportunity for the Chevrons to evaluate tactical formations against the reigning T20 World Champions on their home soil.

IND vs ZIM: Tafadzwa Tsiga Maiden Selection And Key Player Returns
The headline inclusion in the home squad is Tsiga, who earns his first T20I call-up after representing Zimbabwe in 10 Test matches. Selection officials bolstered the setup by recalling all rounder Wessly Madhevere and young left-arm pace bowler Newman Nyamhuri.
Nyamhuri returns to national duty after recovering from a physical niggle that sidelined him during the previous tour of Bangladesh. Fast bowler Tanaka Chivanga, who entered the squad as injury cover during the Bangladesh matches, retains his spot alongside premier speedster Blessing Muzarabani and seam bowler Richard Ngarava.
Excluded Players And Team Selection Changes
To accommodate the incoming talent, Zimbabwe national selectors made tactical exclusions from their previous playing squad. Wicketkeeper batter Clive Madande, seam bowler Tinotenda Maposa, and middle-order batter Tashinga Musekiwa were dropped from the 15-member roster.
